Yes, of course..! I have gone almost retarded
. Otherwise why would I copy paste this here..? This is a team-post I wrote sometime back in xPert Blogs.. Wanted to have a copy of it.. Will move it to my personal blog before I delete it here
Most of the things written here, don’t apply to the current scenario, as many of them have left including the Manager..!
Bad that I was not able to write about Vaithee, as promised !! [This was posted on - 07 - JUN - 2008 Midnight]
The Re-Beginning
This team blog space has been created many a months before, but hardly had any visits or posts by the team ourselves. This is kinda injustice which we are doing to our own product, I thought, hence this re-start-up post.
I may be writing about our team (what this blog mainly meant for), the fun and tough-time it passed(s) through. This is a prefatory post about our team, and I’ll try to give the best possible view to you, which will help you in further posts.
Our team is an FLCB by itself which is called “FLCB SharePoint Services” in SSU IIS, and well-known for it has contributed with quite innovative ideas (hey, really man!!) based on SharePoint. The Blog-Space which you are reading this post in has SharePoint as its base. And the other products which we came up with such as xSell Genie, MyBusiness, xSell Collaboration, etc. (boring, eh?) are also based on SharePoint tech. Hence the name is. xPert Wiki is yet another product developed by us but not based on SharePoint ,May be we too wanted a change. It is headed by Mr. Prabhu Benjamin and has about 25 members.
Now I realize that this post pose a threat to grow larger, if I give introductions of each member, but you have no other go but to bear it, because my life will face a threat if I leave out any one here.. (I’ll keep it short, no worry!). We have the following fellow members,
Prabhu Benjamin – the FLCL, very determined, a nice-to-work-with man, looks like a child (only when he smiles out loud), has unlimited guts to face problems (and also to create them), manages to crack any tough task regarding projects; (Disclaimer: The descriptions are subjected to vary according to the appraisal results. For more detailed explanations about our RM, visit the same blog at the end of this month, June
).
But the unchanged and noteworthy remarks about him are: native of nagercoil (southmost india), very passionate about his family especially kids, wife (and chicken) loving person, a kind-hearted one internally, highly motivating and respecting when we come out with innovative ideas, very good manager of time, and creative thinker. I heard from people who considers him as a mere problem-creator but they are the people who would have lost argument and battle with him. He is not easy-to-go-with at first.
I am committed to introduce at least 13 from Chennai, 1 from Hyderabad, and 1 from Bangalore. From the next post onwards, Team members in Alphabetical order…

Team Intro – I
Here it goes..
Aarthi Balachandran – one of the Module Leads of our team, vegetarian (in front of the team. Donno if she gulps down large pieces of meat in home), recently married, Uses the team as the target audience to hear (of-course, forcibly) her views on her in-laws. Really fun-to-be-around girl in our team. With aarthi around, our design discussions turn to be fun-filled because of her activities and questions.
Aravind Jambula – yet another nice fellow, always smiles even if he gets a session (!) from our RM (what else could he or we, otherwise?), pure non-vegetarian, one of the fast-learners in the team, Has got good appreciations from the Customer for his work.. Expected To-be-married soon. An Energetic guy, whose wish was to have a girl as his project team-mate, but see, God always disposes…
Boopalan Jayaraman – Myself. A State Topper in GATE, Last Year Winner in Microsoft’s XNS Gaming contest, Doing Research in Surface Computing. If you have believed all these, then you are yet to have an acquaintance with me. I wish I had done them really but…No. In real, I am the CML (Chief Module Lead, just because seniors left satyam, he..he..) of the team
. And who knows, I may become a Cheap Module Lead after salary revision! I should not write about myself and I expect beloved team members to describe me… (Bad guys are they.. Don’t believe if they write bad of me for Christ sake…Ok?)
Fuhira Jabeen – Module Lead, previously worked for our very own xPert Blogs, a Native of Chennai, now a bengaluru-Migrant after marriage, joined the team along with me before two and a quarter years (phew..!!). The Functional specialist of our team. More dedicated to her family (the team is forced to believe so..!). Helped me many times by lending money and helped me even more by comfortably forgetting them.
James Nithya – A newcomer to our team. Could be seen in the comments area of many blogs. I have to go a long way to understand her character; perhaps, you will see her in detail in future posts. Talks and answers like a typical topper in class. So obedient. Once surprised me by asking a question the answer of which I had been explaining for the then past half an hour! Native of Dindigul, TN.
Joel Christopher – The Current Admin of xPert Blogs. Hard worker. Native of Madurai, TN. Comes second in loving Chicken after Benjamin. Has good designing skills and makes the UI colourful. A Music lover. Singer and occasional dancer. Has the habit of watching English movies (only) and says to have lost touch with Tamil movies (!).
Kiran Ravi – the Tallest. The server administrator of our team, and operates out of Hyderabad. His voice is so polite, hard to listen over phones, and has no connection with his tall appearance. Stands at the important edge of the team as his job is to handle servers. Kishore (the next in the order) will be able to best-describe about him as they are close friends.

Team Intro – II
Within few hours, Monday arrives, and I would have started facing the consequences of the previous two posts in (as well as out of, L) xPert blogs. Anyways, the part II goes as below…
Kishore Jeethuri – Native of Kurnool, A perfect Andhra guy although his antecedents are from Gujarat. Shares second place with Joel for loving chicken (KFC..yummie!). Functionally sound and has a well-understanding mind. Had been with HR Recruitment wing before having landed up in our team. Famous for his ‘expressionless face’ during discussions.
Lydia Hninsypaa – The current testing arm of our team (also tea-break-sponsoring arm for us). Bears a wide nice-to-see smile always like the
smiley in the communicator. Pure Non-vegetarian, and only very few kinds of living organisms (including human!) escaped her hunt. Has a good attitude towards work.
Manasa Chennadi – the most crying baby, hard worker, believes a .NET-Sharepoint-Infopath combination is synonymous to a Nightmare. Dedicated on the tasks assigned. A KarimNagar girl (AP).
Naga Yakkati – male counter part of Manasa. I mean to say they are thick friends, and both inherit many of the behaviors mutually. Electrical engineer by stream, loves that more than IT. Hard worker. One of the fast learners. Hyderabadi.
Neeraja Gopaluni – Another fast learner and goes with well understanding mind. Contributes to 25% of hits per month to web sites of ICICI bank and IRCTC. Native of Ongole (or some village nearby, think so…), AP.
Purna Sripada – One of the wise persons of the team. Fast learner. Very soft worker. Her husband also works (and really works) for Satyam. A nice lady. Feels the happiest if she is asked “are you really married?”.
Raviteja Konduri – Hyderabadi. Has all the qualities of a functional consultant. Getting transferred to Hyderabad is his short term (cum long term) goal and considers King Ghajini as his role model in achieving that. Bears a nice smile. Pure vegetarian.
Sandeep Kolaparthy – a person driven by high ethical values, soft spoken, native of Cuddapah, has good RnD skills and fast learning curve.
Saranya Siva – Her presence is unfelt and often left unnoticed (at least by me). I have to go a long way to have an understanding about her too.
Suvina Paul – also known as Peter Paul or Suvina Peter. Called “Peter” by the team, for her hi-funda way of speaking English. Well versed in the art of upward delegation of work. For ex., if she is assigned work, Joel, her lead, will be doing it. Anyhow, it is only the current scenario. Has a good attitude towards life and also work. QR of our team.
Vijayakumar Paramkusam- the ultimate person in the list, often uses the word “ultimate” to describe a thing of good quality. Comes from a Brahmin family although already forgot any quality pertaining to it. Hard worker and fast learner. Standing second in the Hyderabad-transfer application queue. Fun to have vijay in the team..etc., etc.,
Uuupphhh… I somehow finished the long (slightly boring) introduction phase of our team, To your luck, I don’t have a proper acquaintance with six more new comers (Vaitheeswaran Kaleeswaran, Sunil Prakash, Ramya Chandran, Ranjani Baskaran, VictorJayaraj Martin, Vidya). Will write soon or later.. (People, you cant escape..!!)
